    I went the other day because sometimes I get tired of eating bread and crave rice and beans.  I decided to try a combination lunch from Lila's Restaurant and it was good, I went around lunch when they first opened.  Had the combination plate with a carnitas taco, rice and beans, really good.  Nice chips and guacamole too.  Went back today and had the combination plate, this time with a chile relleno.  Just good food, and close to where I live.

    It's *really* close to our house so we get take-out when we need food fast, but it's a little underwhelming. The food is average, none of the employees ever smile, (sometimes they seem downright hostile), and they charge for more than one bag of chips, even when you're ordering more than one meal.

    So if I'm in a hurry, I'll go here, but otherwise, there are other taquerias in the area with better service & food.

    This might be the best Mexican restaurant in Santa Rosa. We found this gem after moving to this side of town and we can't get enough. Everything we've had has been superb. So far we've tried the tacos, burritos, tostadas, chille relleno, and taco salad. What pushed me over the edge was their carnitas. The meat is moist and crunchy and not at all fatty. The best I've had in the 10 years I've lived here.

    It appears to be family owned and the customer service is always warm and welcoming. The restaurant is also one of the cleanest we have seen in the area. I would give 10 stars if I could!

    We went to Lila's for the first time last night and I'm so glad we did!! Great food and the family that runs the restaurant are wonderful! Everything we got was so delicious! The staff was so welcoming and fun! We will definitely be back!! Great neighborhood restaurant!

    A great family owned restaurant! I have been coming here for so long that the owners have remembered my order! I recommend this place if you are looking for authentic Mexican cuisine and a very friendly staff!
